Later the second and third Hindi Divas were organized under the aegis of Indian Norway Information and Cultural Forum under the chairmanship of writer Suresh Chandra Shukla.

 

World Hindi Day was organized for the first time on 10 January 2006 by former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. From then till today, Hindi Day was celebrated globally as International Hindi Day in many countries of the world. Programs are organized in the embassies of India located in all the countries on this day on World Hindi Day on 10 January and Hindi speaking people are invited.
